Kaplan Marino is pleased to announce that the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, has granted a full dismissal of all counts in People v. Yorai B. (“Benny”) Benzeevi.

On August 5, 2025, the Court signed an Order for Dismissal. The order set aside prior pleas and dismissed all convictions, formally closing the matter and restoring Dr. Benzeevi’s standing under California law. “We are gratified that the Court granted complete relief for our client,” said Nina Marino, Managing Partner at Kaplan Marino. “This result allows Dr. Benzeevi to finally move forward with his professional and personal life.”

The dismissal concludes proceedings that began several years ago.
