Vehicular Offenses

Vehicular offenses include DUIs, hit and runs, vehicular death, and any other criminal conduct involving a vehicle. Penalties for these offenses range from probation to state prison depending on the nature of the conduct, the use of substances, and the injuries sustained.


Representative cases

  • Client was driving with alcohol and drugs in his system and ran a red light causing an accident with another vehicle, killing the driver, an off-duty police officer. After entering a plea to vehicular manslaughter, the client was sentenced to four years at half-time (two years actual).
  • Client was driving at twilight and hit an elderly person in a cross walk causing severe injuries. Client failed to stop at the scene. After our investigation, we presented evidence the client was unaware the car hit a person. The client was ultimately sentenced to probation with community service.
