Samantha Turner
Samantha Turner has always been passionate about advocating for individuals going through the criminal justice system.
Samantha graduated from Tiffin University with a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology, examining the intersection of law and psychology. She began her career as a substance abuse counselor at a local correctional facility in Marysville, Ohio. Dreaming of warmer weather, Samantha moved to Los Angeles and worked up to supervising the intake department for a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center.
Before joining Kaplan Marino, Samantha was the Program Manager for the Court Referred Volunteer Center (CRVC) program at the Assistance League of Los Angeles. In addition to working with area non-profit organizations to coordinate community service opportunities for those ordered by the Court, she spent five years teaching DUI Prevention classes as part of the Court’s Hospital and Morgue (H.A.M.) program. During this time, Samantha earned a certificate in Paralegal Studies from UCLA Extension and made the transition from public service to paralegal.
Samantha is usually the first person our clients speak to or meet and is always ready to greet them with a smile. She collaborates closely with the rest of the Kaplan Marino team to ensure each and every client receives the attention to detail and care their case deserves.
