Kaplan Marino Partner Richard Kaplan recently served as a panelist at the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s White Collar Crime Institute in San Diego, California.

Kaplan joined Rachel Alpert, Matt Axelrod, Annamartine Salick, and David Newman for a discussion moderated by Joe D. Whitley examining legal and policy initiatives in the areas of sanctions, tariffs, and export control enforcement.

The panel brought together experienced practitioners to discuss developments in these rapidly evolving areas of enforcement and the legal and practical considerations they present for attorneys and their clients. The conversation provided an engaging exchange of perspectives on the changing enforcement landscape and its implications for white-collar practitioners.
